PASTOR’S
PROPHETIC UTTERANCES.
TOPIC: DANGER IN QUESTION, ANSWER, COVENANT, PROMISE
AND VOW IN THE WEDDING DAY.
Question and answer stand for finding out of one thing or the other, reason
why we ask question is to find out something, to know the fact of what
happens and to know the reason why it happened.
The question the Pastor usually asked during marriage is to find out the
kind of life the couple has been living before this time, and their present
life style before joining them together. But it is a surprising thing
today that couple are not ready to answer those questions before joining
them together, but for the few that answer the question, their answer
brings danger to their marital life.
PASTOR’S QUESTION DURING MARRIAGE
Brethren we are gather here today before the lord and before his people,
to join this man and woman in a holy wedding, that is honourable, which
God has established before the fall of man, which symbolized the oneness
of Christ and his church, it is these glorious moment Christ honour and
perform his first miracle, even Paul testified that these is honourable
before all men, therefore it is not to satisfy men desire, like animal
that has no understanding, but with respect and understanding with meekness
and fear of God, we should think as it should be.
WHY MARRIAGE IS INSTITUTED
FIRST REASON: It is established for companionship, assistance and comfort
that one need to get from his/her in time of pains and troubles.
SECOND REASON: It is established to stop sin, and to stop fornication
for those who cannot control themselves, let them marry so that they can
keep themselves in oneness in Christ that has no stain.
THIRD REASON: It is established because of child bearing, and to train
them with the fear of God and in His holiness.
It is in holy moment these two people come to be joined together.
Therefore if anyone sees any reason why these two should not be joined
together according to the law and plan of God, let him say it now.
If not let him shut his mouth forever!!!
QUESTION AND ANSWER
I ask both of you as it is that you are to answer in the fearful day of
judgement, when every hidden things in men’s heart will be revealed,
if any one of you know any thing, that will not permit you to be joined
in holy matrimony according to the law, let him confess it now.
Because, let it be clear to you, that those that were joined together
against the will of God, God did not join them together so also the marriage
is not of God’s will.
CONFESSION OF THE MAN TO THE PASTOR
I (so so the son of so so) want to marry you lady (so so the daughter
of so so) as my wife, so that you will be living together as God has directed
in holy marriage? You will like her? You will comfort her? You will respect
her? You will abandon any other person and face only her till death do
you part.
Then the Man will answer:
YES I AGREE
COVENANT

take care of him in time of sickness and trouble? Will you abandon any
other person and face only him till death will you part.
Then the Lady will answer
YES I AGREE
Now the Pastor will ask: who is giving this lady to this man? The parent
or one of the family members will hand over the lady to the Pastor.
VOW
The Pastor will hand over the lady to the man; the man will use his right
hand to hold the lady’s right hand, and say after the Pastor

my wife to have, as from today, for better, for worse, in sickness and
trouble, to love till death do us part as God directed us, for this I
give all my truth.
Then the lady will use her right hand to hold the man’s right hand,
and say after the Pastor
I (so so the daughter of so so) accept you (so so the son of so so) as
my husband to have, as from today, for better, for worse, in sickness
and trouble, to love till death do us part as God directed us, for this
I give all my truth.
WARNING
Pastor will hold their hands together and say:
Those that God has joined together let no man separate them, as you accept
each in holy marriage and confess this before God and man, and to this,
they use their heart to make vow among themselves.
